The bird from what we deduced was a young bird. It sat in kyle's head and made "feed me" calls. It even ate like a baby bird. We had to put food into its mouth for it to eat. In fact it didn't want to leave. We finally had to put it in a tree.

friend told me that the yellow utric is possibly mis-IDed....he narrowed it down to either Utricularia pusilla, or U. nigrescens.
