    Everything is fine on this thread. God-forbid, if someone likes Justin Beiber enough they can put it on here *shudders*

    Here's their facebook page: http://www.facebook.com/VictorianHalls

    and another song:

    From what I heard in the sampling, their upcoming debut will have some of this, and some other songs that are a bit slower like Traitor. It's amazing how they can sound so different but so...VicHalls

    ========================================

    I remembered another favorite band of mine and figured I'd put them up here, since it's likely no one knows of them, either (although for scale, Victorian Halls fills 23 of the 25 "most played" slots in my iTunes, the first two being filled by the Sharktopus theme song and my favorite sad song).

    Allow me to introduce your ears to Kaizers Orchestra. They're a Norwegian dark, alt-pop...with a touch of oompah

    I like their old stuff way better than their new stuff:

    Kay, so I know these guys have been around for awhile, and I think their hayday was when I was in highschool...but I can't get enough of them lately:

    And out of all their songs, I chose this video for a specific reason. Anyone that knows me will know why

    I stopped actively getting into new music in the mid-90's..you will find that as you reach the age of 25 to 30, all the "new music these kids today" are listening to begins to really suck! (it doesnt matter what year you reach that age..1965, 1985, 2000, 2020..it will happen!

    I havent come across any bands I really like over the last 10 years, except for two:

    Placebo:

    Travis:

    I discovered both of them by listening to internet radio out of London, England..much more interesting than American radio.

    also, more well known, but brilliant:

    Radiohead:

    No problem with 'old' bands here! Just stick some music you like in.
    I really love The Smiths, so it's the perfect opportunity to post!
