Another CP Picture Thread

Well I decided to start a (hopefully) constantly updating picture thread of my own due to my discovery of pics I took with my phone of some of my collection from last year.

Hopefully in their new location they turn out even better this year....

Beautiful nepenthes Greg!! How much sun do allow them to have during the day here in NY? One more question, Where do you store those monsters in the winter time?!!

Why thank you!

Thank you :) . I am fortunate enough to have an indoor area with a skylight that seems to carry them through the winter... Sun time actually will be a little different this year. But at the time of those pictures they were pretty much in sun from noon on and that structure they hung from provided the only shade from the heat of the day. Pretty brutal sun exposure imo as you can see in the miranda leaves... but coloration was gorgeous. Except for the red dragon which I think may have been the one that should've been least shaded when it was apparently most shaded...

Nice flowering veitchii.....what sex is it?

Also..I'm amazed that your neps don't burn in all that sun...I know mine do if I give them that much. :0o:

Nice lookingplants! Please keep us posted on their progress this year.

Pitcheresque!

Oh they burn, just at one corner though , the SW side of that structure I believe. This is why all were moved to a new location.... And progress is being monitored.... So far just a little tanning going on.

Why thank you. My 2 Mirandas have been quite nice to me!

Crazy.

8 inches by me...

N. northiana will be worth the wait to put some size on. I have no clue how old the one at Meadowview is, but it's drool worthy. I want that panther, coolest chameleons ever!
