You've really done some excellent growing to get some great plants. The 2nd & last H. pulchella pics are some fantastic compositions - congrats!

Also - love your ping rock - very cool.
    All the best,
    Ron

I don't remember what that "grassy stuff" is in your last photo. Occasionally, I get it as an unwelcome hitch-hiker on incoming plants. I hear it can spread like wildfire and I get rid of it as soon as I see it. As a result, it has never become established at my place. I have seen other collections where it takes over.

I really like the ping rock! You've got lots of great stuff growing. I am sorry to hear about your cat but hope that it all turns out well, Brie.

Thanks Max... Im hoping he'll be ok too.. He has pancreatitis and hasnt eaten for over 48 hours now.. I just got him home from the emergency vet.. Couldnt afford to have him there for another day(already up to 2100 dollars between the normal vet visit, then the overnight emergency vet stay), and they were pretty much only doing what I could do at home, aside from IV fluids.. So i'll be giving him his pain and antinausea meds, and syringe feeding him blended food and water and hope he starts eating on his own..

If he won't drink on his own and he's not letting you force feed him water, you can ask if they'll sell you a bag of SubQ (subcutaneous) fluids and some needles. I have no idea if they'll actually do that (I sort of doubt it...), but if you know anybody that works at a vet or with a rescue of some sort, you can usually snag one. SubQs are relatively easy to administer and can often save a dehydrated animal's life. Taking our dogs camping or on a road trip, we bring a bag and some needles. Never know. They're a good thing to have around if you can find one, even if not for this particular situation.

Wish you all luck with it.
