Ok Eric, its been a little bit but here's some Darlingtonia pics for ya.
They're lovin this stormy weather and cool nights.
My first cobra, growin' up a storm right now. Loads of new pitchers.
Couple seed grown guys I picked up from Kristoff this year. They've always been very red.
And this one has a drosera hitchhiker.. Dont know what it is.. Intermedia? angelica? Hoping it survives the winter..
Whole bowl shot.. The big cobra's last pup is the medium sized green one, below it. There's some TINY seedlings, off to the right.. Contemplating whether or not I should dig them up and bring them in for the winter? Grow em under lights til their bigger?
D. intermedia, temperate, now dormant
D. rotundiflora doing the same
Akai Ryu VFT, producing its best traps of the year for me right now. During the summer it went mostly green. Now thats its cloudy, cold and rainy, its producing huge, long, dark red traps.. figures. Guess thats what it likes.
I think its about time to start trimming the sarrs.. *sigh*
Flava is giving up the ghost for the year
Now for Indoor stuff... My P. reticulata pullings from the little plant Travis sent me are growing up a storm as well...
D. b. extrema's first double forked leaf! woot! lol.
extrema again, got dew? lol.
Marston Dragon from Mach is getting bigger.. and bigger..
baby Marston Dragons galore... Will be doing a give away here soon I think.
D. prolifera cutting from Drew
D. paradoxa sending up a couple flower stalks
D. venusta looking spanky as always
Tangled mess o' capensis.. Broadleaf and alba
S. brokkensis(xCatesbaei) seedlings.
It went a little crispy adapting to my lower humidity conditions but the new pitchers coming in are looking good.
S. minor seedlings I got from Mach early this year.. I unknowingly stuck them outside in full sun, and almost killed them all.. When it started to cool down this fall I brought them inside. And boom, these are the pitchers they made. lol.
The P. medusina I recently got dropped all the leaves that were sprouting babies, now looks like this..
But I now have at least 2 dozen babies to grow...
A few P. gypsicola babies from Drew, doing well for me so far.
And last but not least. Got gemmae? lol. My D. roseanna spewing em out like crazy.. Will definitely be posting a gemmae trade as soon as they're ripe.
