caught a record smallmouth bass....

went out to the cabin for the afternoon and couldnt pass up going out on the lake to try and catch some snot rockets.....few casts in ripping spoons through drown cottonwood bushes the retrieve felt odd.....thought i snagged some vegetation, turns out i caught this smallie......gotta qualify for some sort of record.......was smaller than the spoon i was using.....

also found a four foot bullsnake

snot rockets? what species is a snot rocket? I have heard of snot otters before but not a snot rocket.

northern pike.....slimy buggers.....if yah catch a bunch of them your boat is full of fish slime......really interesting if yah have a bunch in the livewell for any length of time, when yah pull them out they are just dripping with goo....
