Also, I'm with everyone else, the tanning of your plants lives is a good thing in my opinion. They typically don't actually get burnt until they are very close to the lights or if you for some reason are using ridiculously strong lights that put off dry heat.

A nice hamata with red leaves and sweet pitchers is one of the best looking plants IMO.

Sunlight and water on the leafs can also cause spot burning

So ummmm... luca..... when are you gonna divide those veitchii basals?..... cause ummm I really freaking want one :-D

  • #392
I thought i would give the villosa a little time off the spotlight :awesome:
Im growing the viking x truncata on my windowsill

I can trade you one of the basals if you want :p

  • #393
I don't have anything to trade atm, but as soon as I do I will let you know. Unless you want craploads of capensis broadleaf in which case I can help you out :D. I might divide my N. xchelsonii soon it has like 5 basals and its vining. It is a lowlander but you could probably grow it on your windowsill too.

Whoa, nice hamata!

  • #399
I agree, those are some nice photos. The lighting is very cool because the sun is setting. Your hamata looks great. The pitcher's lighter red coloration is fantastic.
