    What hybrid would you like to see?

    I did this thread in another forum for tarantulas and thought of bringing it here soooo.... If you could make any hybrid what would it be? Has to be possible, not like pinguicula x nepenthes. Should be something that doesnt exist as of now.
    I would like to see:

    N. villosa x inermis
    N. edwardsiana x hamata
    N. truncata x villosa
    N. clipeata x villosa
    N. (inermis x dubia) x (jamban x flava)
    H. tatei x ionasii
    H. sarracenioides x minor
    H. parva x sarracenioides
    H. heterodoxa x folliculata
    H. sarracenioides x folliculata
    and others....

    I'm making it a priority to create this hybrid in the spring;

    S. purpurea Chesterfield Co, VA x S. leucophylla Liberty Co, FL. The hood should be outrageously wavy with a huge mouth and lots of windows. Not to mention it will be extremely vigorous in almost any part of the US.

    Others;
    N. northiana x truncata
    N. northiana x clipeata
    N. northiana x spectabilis
    N. clipeata x rajah
    N. vogelii x alata "hairy red"
    N. vogelii x maxima
    N. burkei x northiana
    N. eymea x northiana
    N. eymea x jamban
    N. bongso x veitchii
    N. fusca x copelandii
    N. platychila x eymea
    N. platychila x spectabilis
    N. stenophylla x spectabilis

    S. jonesii x minor
    S. jonesii x leucophylla

    It seems that all the unique plants are the ones people want to see hybrids of What about alata x venricosa x (alata x ventricosa)?

    I actually would love to see nepenthes aristo x hamata or aristo x villosa

    Indeed it has been. It's separated from other rubras enough to justify it as a species. If you look at the shape and stature of the pitchers you'll see some major differences, mainly in the throat and hood.

    N. Harryana a pretty rare natural hybrid, I would be so bummed if my SG eddies turned out to be that!

    I like hybrids which include N. belii they tend to make miniature heat loving/tolerating forms of bigger and showier species but without affecting the pitcher shape too much if at all, so I'd like to see more primary hybrids with N. bellii and see what they become.
