And some winter Nepenthes photos. Starting with a seductive veitchii photo.

Awesome shots Graham. Is that eymae the BE clone ? Looks more like a maxima upper rather than true eymae.

I agree with Johnny on the eyemae, you should call the kampotiana x (khasiana x alata) 'Prince Gumball' a lot of the photos of it are labeled as Princess Bubblegum.

It came from sacilotto. I think it's seed grown. That's not a full upper either. I labelled that photo long before we decided on the name.

Good looking plants Graham. Love that purpurea.

Do you have a shot of a lower pitcher ?

  • #149
The last time it made lowers was 2 years ago. I'll do some digging.

I would say that plant is maxima. True eymae has much squatter pitchers. Nice plant though.

  • #152
Can't win them all. We'll have to wait for full uppers to form to find out for real.

Sorry to disagree with you Cthulhu, but those upper pitchers certainly aren't N. maxima.
I'm voting for N. eymae :)

...the burn looks fun (when is burning stuff NOT fun ;) )

Thanks, Myles! I'm Looking at Noa F's wild eymae photos and it looks pretty close to ours. I'll have to ask Rob where it came from.

Burns are always fun!
