We haven't seen any Sarracenia on the new land, but we may be planting them in appropriate areas.

Our Drosera collection consists of the following;
Temperate;
-brevifolia
-capillaris (normal form, long arm)
-filiformis
-filiformis var. tracyi
-intermedia
-rotundifolia
and a few hybrids

Tropical
-dielsiana
-nidiformis
-capensis (normal, alba, broad leaf, narrow leaf)
-binata var multifida
-binata var dichotoma
-spatulata

I'm working on building up the dew collection. We're limited as to what we can grow since we only have a lowland greenhouse, so tuberous, pygmy, and highland dews are out of the question.

What do you mean by "squatchy"? I love the look of frozen pines.

Thanks! I'm going to try some HDRs next time. Mason, you should see how the plant beds are coming along. It's going to free up so much space, which will immediately be taken up by repotting!

nice stuffs. those sarr hybrids are nice! very pale/pastel looking....

  • #49
Some of them have nearly white lids. Wait until you see some of the other hybrids. I shot the rest of the photos of last week in RAW, and of course my version of photoshop doesn't support RAW from my camera, so they've been undergoing a mess of an editing process on my dad's computer..... Hopefully they'll be up tomorrow.

  • #50
Spectacular shots as always Wireman. I love that cushion sphagnum man. Beautiful. :)

  • #51
The Cushion Sphag is actually growing again, already. It should completely cover the pot in a few weeks.

Ready for some more photos? These are from March 13th.
We'll start off with S. leuco 'Burgundy' x 'Powhatan' and how variable it's proving to be.
