Sorry for the horrible pics. I have an okay camera but i'm just a terrible photographer:p.

Some really cool plants and good pictures in there. That D. venusta x capensis 'Alba' cross is quite interesting. Me likey. XP

Thanks Drew and Heli!

Thanks Mike!

Your plants are looking great!

I was scrolling backwards from the bottom the page and I saw the orchid bloom and I thought, "What the heck is that Nepenthes doing?!"

Thanks Dex!

I'm surprised at how easy the orchids are to care for. I've always thought they were finicky plants.

Those are some fine looking Cephalotus! Well done :)

  • #12
dang.. everything is so colorful. What kind of lights are you using?

  • #13
Thanks WG and Mass. The sarrs were grown under security lights from Lowes, hps. Everything else is grown under some type of fluorescent.

The Caroline County purps are looking beefy!

  • #15
Thanks WM. I really like those. They all have some very nice coloration. Thanks!

Virginia purps tend to do that. I was hoping they stayed pale with the dark veins, but the blood red still looks awesome. Their dormant coloration is usually a metallic red, at least it usually is. We might have a pinstripe variety, too. However, that one is really, really rare. It looks like the site yours came from is pretty much doomed. 80% of the plants are now dead.

Are your's starting to slow down now? Mine seem to be taking a break currently, making smaller leaves.

They got bigger! Nice work with the little guys. I think mine are just taking a break for a bit. Repotting may still be in order.
The rubricorpra x montanas look amazing! I'm having an orchid rebloom for me too! It's a Paphiopedilum though. Nice work with the N. diatas, very nice and uncommon plant.
