Killer update. Didn't realize you grew petiolata, but it looks great. And that diatas pitcher is going to be really nice when it opens. Looks pretty big already.

  • #343
Thanks Mat. I'm still not sure how I feel about petiolata. I'd like to see some more maturish pitchers before I make up my mind on the species. That diatas pitcher will be it's biggest yet, about 3". It should pop open in another day or 2.

Where is yours from ? Mine is a Borneo Exotics clone. I'm not sure if they have multiple clones or just the one.

  • #346
i think the nursery i got it from gets more or less all their neps from BE so i think it must be from there, shame it just had a big jump in leaf size but also stopped pitchering

According to BE they have 24 clones of N. diatas in production.

N.diatas can be fickle. They seem to really need frequent feeding. Mine will start producing smaller and smaller pitchers and start putting out retarded lids if I slack off on feeding it.

Wow, with 24 different clones there's quite wide range of possibilities for variation. I wish mine had come in with it's designated clone #.

I really like the colors of veitchii x platychila. Great tuberous dews too!

  • #353
Great plants! I have to agree on the colors of the veitchii x platy, and loving how the hamata x platy is turning out. However, I noticed you used the same pic for both the H. nutans giant and uncinata.

You weren't kidding about the Heli additions. I haven't decided whether or not to order any in my upcoming aw order. Damn things just hate me in the Summer, but I guess I could devote a little tank to them.

Wish I knew more about Drosera. Those things look impressive.
