Schweeet! Man I cant wait for my A.S. to come up and look like that!

Mine got a head start in the greenhouse. It wouldn't be looking like that had I just put it in the bog when it arrived in February.

I really like the D. peltata pic. 'Good composition and 'gives me hope for the future of mine.

D.peltata has been bar far the easiest of the tuberous dews for me. Not nearly as picky about conditions as the a lot of the other ones.

It sure is. Definitely in my top 3 favorite Sarracenia. Anyone into these plants should bite the bullet and pay asking price for one. Big, showy, colorful.

Nepenthes rajah. Someone gave me this half dead plant about 2 weeks ago. It already has a new leaf starting to poke out.
<a href="http://s1109.photobucket.com/albums/h434/Nepenthes138/Nepenthes%20-%20Highland/?action=view&current=5-6-12008.jpg" target="_blank"><img src="http://i1109.photobucket.com/albums/h434/Nepenthes138/Nepenthes%20-%20Highland/5-6-12008.jpg" border="0" alt="Nepenthes rajah - 5-6-12"></a>

That rajah looks more like 75% dead, but still, the new growth looks good!

Nice mackyF!

  • #99
Haha, yeah half dead was an understatement. There's some hope there though.

  • #100
Yeah, that rajah will be looking good in no time. The one I got with the broken growth point is putting out a new leaf as we speak. Not exactly slow, either.
