This is huge, man. Everything looks great. Nice to see those mystery seedlings somewhere other than the phone, but they still look incredibly white. It's going to be awesome watching those grow. Also didn't realize you had so many hamatas. The "site B" is something I've been curious about. Who knows what those are going to look like? Should be nice. The eymae x ephippiatas are definitely looking great now that they're a bit larger. The form is really interesting.

Like I've said a number of times before, I always forget this ambiguously titled thread is yours. May just have to subscribe from now on.

I actually have more hamatas on the way, all different ones. The Site B is already showing slightly different pitcher morphology than the Katopassa. The eymae x ephippiata is rapidly becoming one of my favorite plants. It's working on an even bigger pitcher right now that should look incredible when it opens.

You should do a hamata giveaway!

:awesome:

My son and I were sitting here looking through your post and he kept saying, "WOAH", "WOOOOOAAAAH", "DAD! WOAH!!!!". You have some incredible plants. That Drosera schizandra is incredible. What is the pale silver moss it is in? I will also echo what everyone else has said and that var. alba Nepenthes is a stunner.

It does look like there's talangensis in there but according to the source for the seeds, that would be next to impossible. It's more than likely inermis x pectinata.

I have the eymae X ephippiata cross as well, and the most recent pitcher on mine is really spectacular. So much so that it caught me by surprise. I'll have to get a photo to show you. Very nice assortment of plants of all genera! And yet I saw no Cephaloti :-o

I'd love to see a photo of your eymae x ephippiata. Mine looks great, I can only imagine what yours is doing !

My "Cephaloti" are all in hibernation in the basement. Maybe I'll sneak down and take some pics of them later on. Here's a couple pullings that have started growing..........

Really nice. how old is the spectabilis? the foliage seems really different than the bandahara type i have.

i like that pot of D roseana too. like a little bed of dews.

  • #273
I've only had the spectabilis since maybe August. It came in from the vendor all stalked and kind of goofy looking. It just put out a huge basal, so we'll see how it looks when it grows normally now.

  • #274
Looking good, Johnny!!!

  • #275
Amazing Neps you have there!

I'm really, really jealous of your D. binata. Mine usually looks its best in winter when I bring it indoors on a sunny window. It's starting to make lots of dew now.

  • #276
Do you have any pictures of your growing area and how everything works? I've been through this whole thread, and all of your plants are great!
