Thought I may as well start my own pic thread. Outside CPs are still in their winter sleep, so I will start with some of my indoor plants.

This is my first year growing nepenthes, so excited to get pitchers starting in my care

HOLY MOLY that's a big droso! :hail:

Okay, got some divisions done this past weekend and here are before and after pics. Mind you these are still dormant so not looking their best.

Dente flytrap long overdue for dividing. From this

Old bog last growing season
IMG_8664.jpg
[/IMG]

Old bog looking rather sparse now. Still to divide are the S. Scarlett Belle and another clump of flytraps. Then all the dormant dews and a couple small sarrs to come out, then the soil dug out and the bog re-done.
IMG_9930x1.jpg
[/IMG]

Finally got that Scarlett Belle divided. A very tight root ball and spent an hour teasing the roots apart to get good divisions, crying the whole time because I loved that mass of pitchers and this is one of my first CPs years ago, but the middle of it was starting to show the affects of being too big and the soil was breaking down anyway. The good thing is that these grow very fast and will have a big plant again in no time.

A lot of these divisions from the old bog are already spoken for in private giveaways to TF people and those left over I will do a public giveaway soon.

Here is a pic of my makeshift "fen" setup for the darlingtonia in the pond from last summer

those S. Scarlett Belle's look great for this time of year

They hold their pitchers very well, but this time of year the hoods are brown. The sticks and green tape are what I used to hold up all the flower stalks last year in case anyone is wondering

I just  ed on my shoes. I've been daydreaming of a bog like that..

Thanx. That is just the little one that got me hooked on the bog idea, I can't wait for the new big one I put in last year to come to life this year. I'll come dig ya one (well, hubby can dig and I will supervise LOL)

Wow - you've got a great collection, DJ! Drosos, Neps, Sarrs and all. And you've got good taste - I love Dana's Delight.

Thank you, Dana's Delight one of my favorites. Gonna have to figure a way to create a dwarf Dana's so you can grow them.

The Scarlette looks great in a clump regardless of the pitcher's condition, and your Droso's..., too awesome! How large is the clay pot?

Very beautiful plants DJ. Love that clump of VFTs.

Thank you. The Droso is in a 10" terra cotta pot and is really only 2 separate plants. The third big one on the far right is actually part of the one next to it. This one formed a flower bud when only a couple inches tall so I cut it off, then it formed an offshoot from that cut and fell over; it does not have any roots formed, it is still attached but looks separate. There are also a bunch of off-shoots coming out of the base of the big one on the far left.

Next time I will put them in 12" terra cotta pots.
