Just dipping into my camera bag from the 80s (none I could consider "cult" lenses today):

Some quick and dirty test shots. Subject matter repeated for rough comparison

(note: with the adapter I have Minolta manual focus lenses can only be used as close-up or macro lenses)

    Minolta 50mm f/1.4 (early 80s)

Minolta 55mm f/1.4 (two or three generations early than above early 70s)
blur on web is partly the result of wind motion

50mm f/3.5 macro with life-size adapter (same generation as 50mm above)

    28mm f/2.8 (1/2 to one generation before the 50mm)

Grand Hotel... always the same. People come, people go. Nothing ever happens.

Wow! Nice NaN!! You are causing me to miss my succulent collection.

Here are some I took today. The wind was blowing pretty bad.

    Yashica 50mm f1.4

    Helios 44-2 58mm f2

Where do we go when we just don't know,
And how do we relight the flame when it's cold?
Why do we dream when our thoughts mean nothing,
And when will we learn to control?

Thumbs up 28mm Close Focus Vivitar Cult Classic

I loved this lens when I saw what Crissy was doing with hers....
Not sure when it was made, guessing 1970's-1980's

Vivitar 28mm Close focus OM mount
    (Komine Co. Ltd mfg.)

Very quick hand held snap shots and a little bit out of focus....

    Still sweet...

The owner of the building likes succulents so they are planted all around. With my 105mm f2.8 macro:

Told you you'd fall in love with it Av! The focusing distance is perfect for so much stuff.

Wow, very nice NaN! What brand 105?

    Thanks Devon .
