    I gotta say what everyone else did - Why can't we have something like that here?!
    I know the farmers market in Pyuallup has some nice plant vendors but nothing like this!

    Awesome! I think that purple plant ur mom got excited about was a buddleja of some sort, looks like purple haze which is a cultivar that was developed by my current undergrad research advisor Dr. Dennis Werner. And the jack-in-the-pulpit after that is Arisaema sikkokianum, the Circumcised Jack-In-The-Pulpit. Probably my favorite one, only behind Arisaema urashima, the Dominatrix Jack-In-The-Pulpit
