This fair was AWESOME!! The most plants i've seen in one place ever. LOL. Anyone in the PNW, it is worth the drive to go! It apparently happens every year, and is bigger each year.. There was a pretty big variety of plants available, pots, planters, yard art, etc.. And so many native plants and flowers!! And it was fun meeting up with a couple other locals, Bluemax and Mato.
I ended up coming home with:
1 adult drosophyllum
2 pots of D. prolifera
2 different types of Corkscrew rush to add to a bog bowl/pot
2 different ssp of Fritillaria (chocolate/checker lily)
1 blooming Fairy Orchid (Calypso bulbosa)
1 Oregon Fawn Lily (Erythronium oregonum)
1 Big Camas Flower (Camassia quamash
and a baby Tiger Abutilon tree
And now for pics!
BlueMax and Mato.. Mat is thrilled to be there.
Jacob.. of a popular local CP nursery, being a goofball
Some sarrs at their table
Drosophyllum for sale, the pot dead center is the one I ended up buying..
And now for other things...
Oregon Fawn Lilies
No idea, but its awesome
A nice Tiger Abutilon tree on display at the booth where I bought my little one..
Particularly pretty lavender
I cant remember what these were, but my mother was ecstatic to see it and bought 2 pots of it. lol
A very nice Jack in the Pulpit flower
There were a few nice Bird of Paradise there, which you dont usually see this far north
Some natives, Camas and Shooting Star flowers
Camassia quamish, the type I purchased
There were Clematis everywhere.. How I wish I had a yard..
Bleeding hearts
Bunches of more natives
There was also loads of trillium available.. One of my fav natives...
This seller had several flats full of flowering Calypso.. It was awesome seeing them all together..
Staghorn fern vendor, had some amazing plants.. This first big one was easily 4ft across and like 250 bucks!
Some awesome art
I wanted this one so bad!
