    Sorticulture Garden festival *pics*

Went to an annual local garden festival yesterday that i very much enjoy. Lots of awesome artwork and some great plants... This year did not disappoint..

One of my favorite local artists, a metal worker by the name of "Abraxas Crows", brought some great new things this year.. Including this 4ft tall metal gargoyle that had glass eyes and a glass orb that glowed when plugged in at night. SOOO COOOL! He also filled me in on his new uber project.. He's building an erect flying dragon with a 25ft wing span, and that will breath fire.

But what he's really known for are his birds.. This raven was new, and about the size of a bald eagle..

    And another new sculpture

The typical crows/ravens he has for sale

An awesome blue thistle relative.. I forget what its called again, but it gets much bluer.

Awesome 5ft tall iron bell sculpture

A great european temperate orchid, forgot the name again..

    Builder of awesome rustic sheds

No idea what these were but I really liked em

Awesome sedum bowl my mom bought

I stole one "strand" of these.. SO PRETTY!

Some great birdhouses.. I absolutely loved these.

Corkscrew willow trellises.. They were amazing.

Me looking like a little kid in The Giant's Chair

    A Bletilla cultivar

    I loved this guy LOL

A violist I very much enjoyed listening to...

One of our local sarr growers was there..

She was selling these awesome ready made bog planters...

Jack In the Pulpit.. A. speciosum. I ended up buying one of these
