I'm guessing a 14-16 hour photoperiod?

How hot does it get in there?
What kind of nep and what kind of ping?
What kind of bulbs are you using?
???

Well I'd say 10 degrees hotter than my apartment. I have a ventricosa outside that isn't happy and a moranensis x Agnata that's doing ok but not great. It's a sun blaze fixture I got from the hydroponics store. I think they are t5's on the blue spectrum

And I live in Los Angeles so in the summer it hits the high nineties regularly. I saw a nepenthes alba that I was considering ordering if I won't cook it

put a thermometer in there also you probably can use a humidifier la tends to be dry , and t 5's throw off lots of heat and a humidifier will cool it a little and keep the humid up

they should be fine. I've got two 4ft, 4 tube HO T5 and my temps are around 96F during the day and 70F at night. I don't know about your ventricosa cause thats more of an intermediate nep. But all my lowlanders do just fine. just be sure to keep the humidity up or the plants will bake.

N. alba is a highlander and will not tolerate those growing conditions for long. Stick to lowlanders.

And measure the temps in there.

i will try to figure out the temps when i get home from work. thank you for your responses. what do you guys recomend for humidity? pet store humidifiers i would think are rather expensive. lowlanders huh?! that excites me. ive always wanted an ampularia.

I grow lots of lowlanders. I've got like 6 different types of N. ampullaria and CZ plants has a lowland N. alba if that's what you're looking for. I recently bought one and its doing fine in my lowland terrarium.

Where I like to order from has alba in stock and I have nEver really considered lowlanders before. Does ampularia stay rather small? The space isn't very big :/

It likes to throw up basals so if you can keep it small pretty easily.
