a visit to Kew gardens

finally i visited Kew gardens,something i have been meaning to do for sometime,i was shocked at how huge the grounds were,and the sheer size of the glass houses is breath taking

will not put too many pics up but thought someone might find it interesting,i have loads more pics of orchids and cactus but thought i would just show a bit of this amazing place

I'd love to see the orchids. I wanted to visit last time I was in London, but became violently ill, so I couldn't go. Maybe next time.

Nice Paphs and Phrags! The dorsal sepal and the first Phrag is insane! How badly did the Amorpho smell?
 
sorry to say no smell,maybe not mature enough or i have lost my sense of smell,glad you like the orchids i know nothing about them but they sure are pretty
 
Great pics! I absolutely love the bricked up tree.:) Also them lily leaves are pretty outstanding. I bet they are something else in-person! Thanks for the tour.
