My plant is most certainly not the true ascendens, as that is not in cultivation yet. I'd be looking at D. villosa var. latifolia (formerly ascendens), but quite frankly, at this point I'm looking at a shot in the dark or a possible hybrid. I know people with this exact same clone who's plants exhibit graomogolensis phenotype. I imagine my conditions are just playing funny with the plant. Probably the low light. The younger plants certainly act like graom and not ascendens.

I'll have to grow out my villosa var. latifolia seeds and see what comes up. That should allow me to do a side by side comparison of the plants rather than relying on Internet pictures.

    Thanks guys!

    D. graomogolensis is from BCP. Same location as yours if I am correct that you got yours from Devon. I believe the root source for his was BCP, but I'm not 100% on that.

I'm going to fix up my lighting situation this weekend. Hopefully that will make everything look better.

Yup mine is from Devon, and looks very much like graomo. I suspect yours just needs more light like you say.

I'm back again! Found a couple more things worth taking pictures of...

    D. ultramafica x spatulata is flowering...

    U. blanchetii "WF, chapada diamantia" IIRC:

    D. capillaris "Long arm, Belem"

    D. venusta lookin decent...

    D. spatulata "Gold coast, Queensland"

    D. ultramafica x spatulata plantlet...

    D. rorimae from leaf cuttings actually look half decent. Nothing like on the Tepuis. But restarting from leaves certainly made better looking plants:

    Thanks for looking!
