Hey, nothing wrong with that "mess," looks like my bog in miniature, Pesky capes.

Also loving the hamata x platy and ventricosa Porcelain. All your plants looking mighty fine.

Hi Kinjie! Is that just a young N. ventricosa porcelain or some other 'alba' clone?

Thanks DJ!

Hello Tony! If I had to gauge it from the information I know and how long I have had It ...I would put it at about 6 years old. So I would say its old but grows painfully slow for a plant I really enjoy! Hope that answers your question.

You have such beautiful plants!! Your Hamata x platy and seed grown lowii totally caught my eyes and are especially absolutely stunning... * - *

If N. hurrelliana makes true upper pitchers then it's not a veitchii hybrid. Those tend to never have the tendril loop.

never knew this. though it could be possible over a series of crosses with other hybrids and veitchii maybe?

this is a tendril loop:

the tendril....makes a loop. intermediate pitcher tendrils go through a gnarled confused phase where the loop does not complete.

if the tendril loops are present in the photos you posted, im having a hard time seeing them.

very nice pics! I love the N. Chaniana x veitchii - sooo long and thin!

PS. All your pics have extra IMG tags around them. This annoys me!
