A few cell phone pics:

Lowii x campy SG update:

<a href="http://www.flickr.com/photos/84442298@N03/8535478962/" title="20130306_170817 by Sundrew, on Flickr"><img src="http://farm9.staticflickr.com/8230/8535478962_4e6fa14bde_z.jpg" width="480" height="640" alt="20130306_170817"></a>

I love the purple inside it:

<a href="http://www.flickr.com/photos/84442298@N03/8535481174/" title="20130306_170811 by Sundrew, on Flickr"><img src="http://farm9.staticflickr.com/8375/8535481174_1b60b4bdd4_z.jpg" width="480" height="640" alt="20130306_170811"></a>

And an update on the coffee burmannii's color change. It is now totally red.

<a href="http://www.flickr.com/photos/84442298@N03/8534384799/" title="20130306_170327 by Sundrew, on Flickr"><img src="http://farm9.staticflickr.com/8392/8534384799_43ae9be7bf_z.jpg" width="480" height="640" alt="20130306_170327"></a>

After I fed it, the 'Giant' lineage is starting to be obvious. It dwarfs my other rosetted dews.

I was flushing the neps today and got the chance to take a few new pics.

N. ampullaria basal:

I think this pitcher is a little premature...

New N. rafflesiana 'squat x alata' opened.

I know the saturation is ridiculous on this, but this is as close as I could get to the true green of the peristome.

Look at the wings developing!

A quick update on the best pot in my collection, the coffee burmaniis turning brown again (I raised the lights to reduce water loss when I ran out, this may have caused the change). They are cell phone pics, so bare with me.

Here's the new growshelf! Propagation things are up top under two t8 bulbs, sundews are underneath 4 t12 bulbs in the center, and the space for HL neps is below. Hopefully tomorrow I can get the four t8 bulbs/fixtures for it. I'm trying to brainstorm a way to seal the front. I may just do panels of mylar bubble wrap secured with magnets.

Ooohhh that's nice. No doubt they'll do great in there. Cooling with an AC?

  • #60
No, my basement is typically 65F or lower, but for a few degrees lower at night I'll use the swamp cooler I made.
