    my first cp was either a s. lecophylla or d filiformis neither of which i can grow well now

    First cp was a VFT from a local grocery chain bought back in 2010. I managed not to kill it and I eventually got 30+ clones after a few years. Most have been traded away but I still have a few clones left.

    2 years, i bought a S. leucophylla from a garden center. I threw it away last year becuase i thought it died when it went dormant

    My first cp's were some D.spatulata grown from seed shortly after I became a member of the forum. They are still alive and kicking, they have been flowering like crazy

    The time where my mother bought me a vft for my birthday present doesn't count (she planted it in a terrarium in potting soil.)

    10 years later:

    I did some research on VFTs, bought one, and divided (once) and transplanted in at least 3 times during the first month I had it...during summer. It survived and I ordered a bunch of sarracenia and sundews that fall. I've been trading to supplement my collection ever since!
