We began our trip up the Cape in a huge 4 wheel drive bus. I'll admit I was very impressed that we never got stuck in that thing. Our first stop was a site confirmed to have some Utricularia and Drosera. We found I believe potentially two new species of Utricularia at the site. They may or may not be pictured here. Some Utrics were so small I couldn't tell if I was photographing the correct thing or not.

    Beautiful Utricularia !

This one is almost certainly U.caerulea.

I'm guessing that this is one of the many forms of U. chrysantha.

The next locality was an air field with tents and a few rooms for rent. Most people that stay there are truckers, pilots, and the crazy plant people on tours like us.

Great to see all these species in situ. Love the D.serpens, all of the species in that complex are terrific. Annuals like D.hartmeyerorum ?

Nearly all of them were setting seed so they might behave that way but there were some really long plants like 2ft+. But i'm not sure if they behave as annuals or not.

Ditto! Insane pics of schizzies in-situ.

Did you have an opportunity to see the other sisters in the rainforest?

The wild schizandra hardly even look carnivorous! Wow. Excellent pics.
