Would you go see Carnivorous plants in the wild?
I saw this link from a monthly news letter titled "CP Expedition".

This are organized trips in the US and overseas to see Cps in the wild!!
Cray Cray, I actually want to visit South Africa this summer, maybe I can squeeze that part of my trip in there. Too bad it's in September. Oh well, I may pay to see Cobra Lilies though

Red Fern Natural History sponsored trips are truly an amazing experience. If you get the chance and have the means, I highly recommend participating. It is a once-in-a-life time experience you don't want to miss.
I attended a Philippino expedition in December of 2013 and it was one of the greatest experiences of my life.
Lucky dog! Going on one of their SE Asian expeditions is a dream of mine.

I have been to Indonesia twice, but never did see any wild growing Nepenthes.

These expeditions sound really awesome!
I was actually down in the Cape(South Africa) last year but did not visit any of the CP sites (Did not really know where to look to tell the truth)
I am going again in April but don't think I will stay long enough to get a chance to go exploring the wilderness. Would really love to see CP's in the wild though!!
