Wow! just Wow! thank you for taking the time to post all these wonderful photos! Its always a very special thing to see CPS growing in situ. Growing CPS by themselves you don't realize how much competition they have to deal with out in the wild and how resilient these plants can probably be.

I especially liked seeing all the other fauna that seems to be attracted to the plants. I really enjoyed the bumble bee pictures. I've been really into bumble bees in particular lately.

How did they VTF's get there?

Prevailing accepted theory is that someone (many use the name "Old Man Northrop") spread seeds in the regions of FL where they're found, and they naturalized...
Everything has a reason, whether big or small. Never underestimate the power of what is or is not.
There is far more to everything than meets the eye.

Those are some amazing shots, I particularly like the underwater ones. How did you get those?
    Barely functional.

I bought a camera that I can use for plants, and for scuba diving - it's good to 50 feet of water out of box. The one I use is the Olympus TG-03, which I don't think is available for purchase any more but I see that a new model is available (here's a link to that one Tough TG-4 | Olympus).

I'm thinking about doing a quick hop up to Cobra country over the Labor Day weekend coming up... I'm not sure if I'll actually get it together though. It'd be super sweet if I did manage to do both ends of the CP-spectrum in the US this Summer/early Fall.
