    Howdy all, some of you might find this webpage interesting. It is called "The Dictionary of Carnivorous Plant Names" and the link is here:

    Yes, muscipula = mousetrap
    mus = mouse
    capere = to catch

    musca = fly, so flytrap would be muscicipula

    I've seen that website before, it's really good, but there's one problem..........THEY DON'T LIST THE NAME SPECTABILIS! [img]http://www.**********.com/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/wow.gif[/img] LOL!
