Can-o-crickets

Just was wondering if the crickets are shipped live?
Also, how big are they and how long do they last?
 
They are dead crickets about ½" long (3 week old size) sealed in a small can in their own juices. There's 200+ crickets per can so they last quite a while, unless you're feeding a bunch of CPs.
