I don't think I am a collecter just quite yet, I only have three cp's. I guess thats ok since I just started to get into cp's last week.
Well heres my tiny list:
2 larg common Venus Fly Traps
1 S. Purpurea
I know its not much but there mine and I love'em.
I don't blame you porsch guy I love mine to. All 50 of them. I pay attetion to everyone not singling out the boring CP; to me they all are equally neat and lovable You probably think I am a wierdo like this guy > But I am not I am just a Cp collecter and soon to be seller. Nep.G.
a collection is a collection, whether it's one of 5,000.
I love all my plants, from the flytraps to the Nepenthes, though I will confess that my Nepenthes have absolutely grabbed my 'fancy'. While they demand a more stringent environment i.e. humidity and what not, but believe it or not, I fond they need less care than temprate species... for that reason alone, I am considering holding my current temperate collection where it is and only expanding in Nepenthes... naww... that's crap.. I want to cram that 36" planter with about 30 more plants next year... who am I kidding!
Good choice Rampuppy! The more Cp's The Better! Nep.G.
OK here it goes:
5 typical VFTs(one of them was my first ever cp)
5 green dragon
4 red dragons
quite a few mutants on the way
a few unidentified temperates
1 'Titan'(I forget what the cross is)
a few rotundifolia colonies
colony of nitidula*pulchella
a few unidentified pygmies
1 'marston dragon'
various filliformis plants
intermedia 'cuba' and 'USA' colonies
colony of spathulata
colony of burmanii
some unidentified rosetted subtropicals
2 Cephalotus(very small!)
2 Darlingtonia(I love these things!)
1 'Judith Finn'(I'm still convinced this is a Judy)
1 alata 'spotted'
1 'Ile de France' on the way
1 dyeriana(this is my absolute favorite Nep)
1 rajah(I'm determined to keep this palnt alive!)
1 hamata(very small)
colony of subulata(you can't really call it one 'plant')
colony of bisquamata
colony of sandersonii
colony of livida
colony of calcifida 'cthulu'?(spelled wrong?)
pathetic colony of gibba
3 Brocchinia reducta
various rubra forms
12 purpurea purpurea
6 purpurea venosa
1 'Cobra Nest'
3 'Judith Hindle'
various simple, unidentified hybrids
2 'Dixie Lace'
1 'Ladies in Waiting'
1 'Mardi Gras'
I think I've covered everything. My cp are grown on numerous windowsills, terraria, 1 bog garden outdoors, and several large pots outdoors. I only recently started growing outdoors. I WISH I HAD A GREENHOUSE! Oh well. Many of my plants are small and newly acquired. My single biggest problem is not enough growing room--that's why I have such a huge need for a greenhouse. Writing this has been fun and very therapeutic for me.

WOW,Dionaea Enthusiast you could start your own Cp nursery!!!!
How do you remember all of those Cps
color me various shades of green.... ENVY! I will get there Someday!
Noone who is growing Aldrovanda or Byblis or Heliamphora or Genlisea or Roridula or... ?
I wondered, because I never read discussions about them in this forum...
The CP world is more than Nepenthes and Sarracenia (at least for me ;o) )
My favourit plants are Heliamphora ionasii (I don't have one :o( ) , Roridula dentata (have some now ;o)))) ) and Nepenthes edwardsiana (the "true" one) (uuups... a Nep ! ;o) but I don't even know, if this plant has entered cultivation)
I would have a tough time listing what is personal collection so I will say instead that my goal is to obtain at least one clone of every Nepenthes and Heliamphora species. Ideally I would like to get 2 or more of each with opposite sex on the Nepenthes so we can get some sib crossing done! I also have some other things .. normal and red dragon vft, various Drosera and a couple Sarracenia and Pings. Can you tell I am partial to Nepenthes and Heliamphora?? hehe
