Too many to list. Last couple of albums downloaded, that I enjoyed, include :

Manu Chao (Radio Bemba Sound System, but Clandestino is also very good album)
Nico & the Velvet underground (A bit 'hippy' but good)
Kraftwerk (Autobahn)
Sum41 (Does this look infected?)
O Brother, where art thou? (Original Soundtrack)

Some others that deserve a mention: De La Soul, Run DMC, Eminem, Dre, Ry Cooder, Air, Dave Brubeck, Marvin Gaye

I'm sure I could sit here and list 100's of others...

Rap, heavy metal (Rob Zombie), old country (John Cash), blues, and rock and roll. I have way to many groups to start listing or I am just lazy today.

I dont listen to music. Alot of people here have listed almost 20 diff singers/bands that they like. lets say they have a cd of each. each cd costs about 10-15 dollars. thats over 200 dollars in cds. then there is the cd player. another 50 dollars. to me, all it is is talking in different pitches and with a tune. waste of money.
At my school we get laptops with CD-RW+DVD-R drives
So we just trade cds and load them up on the computers and give them back. which is how I aquired all Metallica songs even from Garage inc. And the original songs.
I don't know why people don't like St.Anger Aside from the drums sounding a lot heavier I think it's a fine cd but parts of it are rather disturbing....
Preferences:
Ozzy
Tool
Disturbed
Taproot
Greenday
Metallica
Mega Deth
Danzig (Mother was my favorite song for years)
AC/DC
Led Zeppelin
Iron Maiden
Twisted Sister
Anything '80s 90's except some of the heaviest bands Slipknot Mudvayne, etc.
2.0 Burmese Python
0.0.1 Sandfish
2.4.1 Leopard Gecko
1.1.13 Beardies

I added my reply to the last topic asking this, I guess I'll do it again.

I like most of the 80's metal Metallica, Megadeth, Anthrax, Iron Maiden, Twised Sister and so on.

I also like Zack Wylde, Savatage,

I like southern rock Molly Hatchet, Blackfoot, Allman Brothers, And one of my favs Lynyrd Skynyrd.

I like the rough country (not the stuff you hear on the radio) Charlie Daniels, Hank Williams JR, Mearl Haggard

I don't think I even have to list my favorite Ozzy and Black Sabbath.

I have to mention one of the best bands of alltime Forever Untouched!!!!!

TAPROOT! They are the best in concert. Stephen Richards even came down to mosh with us during their tour in San Francisco.
Taproot, Anti-Flag, The Casualties, Alkaline Trio, Eleventeen, Deadsy, AFI...what's not to love?

Lightbulb

My favorite music/artists list would go on and on, but here's some of the best:

Bjork
System of a Down
No Doubt (Go Californians)
Shakira(Spanish Only)
Britney Spears
GreenDay (More Californians)
Radiohead
Madonna
Aliyah
Mariah Carrey
Sarah McLaughlin
Zoe'
La Ley
John Mayer
Jimmy Eat World
Hot Hot Heat
Queens of the Stone Age
Aerosmith
Tori Amos
Tool/Perfect Circle

That's all I can come up with, there's just too many kinds of music/performers I love and that's not counting the one hit wonders.
