I dont listen to music. Alot of people here have listed almost 20 diff singers/bands that they like. lets say they have a cd of each. each cd costs about 10-15 dollars. thats over 200 dollars in cds. then there is the cd player. another 50 dollars. to me, all it is is talking in different pitches and with a tune. waste of money if you ask me.

Hi,

I listen to Bruuuuuce Springsteen, REM, U2, old Motown, disco and Broadway cast albums. I like energetic, personal, beautiful, lyrical, fun, funny, emotional and idealistic music. The world is ugly enough.

? , everyone listens to music wether you believe or not , and i would'nt know why its a waste of money . its like buying cps , the cd are the cps , the cd player is the soils and all that other stuff , and the differnet pitches and tunes are like the different geneus and spcies . think of it that way , you don't really waste money on anything you like .

Too many to list.  Last couple of albums downloaded, that I enjoyed, include :

Manu Chao (Radio Bemba Sound System, but Clandestino is also very good album)
Nico & the Velvet underground (A bit 'hippy' but good)
Kraftwerk (Autobahn)
Sum41 (Does this look infected?)
O Brother, where art thou? (Original Soundtrack)

Some others that deserve a mention: De La Soul, Run DMC, Eminem, Dre, Ry Cooder, Air, Dave Brubeck, Marvin Gaye

I'm sure I could sit here and list 100's of others...

Rap, heavy metal (Rob Zombie), old country (John Cash), blues, and rock and roll. I have way to many groups to start listing or I am just lazy today.

At my school we get laptops with CD-RW+DVD-R drives
So we just trade cds and load them up on the computers and give them back. which is how I aquired all Metallica songs even from Garage inc. And the original songs.
I don't know why people don't like St.Anger Aside from the drums sounding a lot heavier I think it's a fine cd but parts of it are rather disturbing....
Preferences:
Ozzy
Tool
Disturbed
Taproot
Greenday
Metallica
Mega Deth
Danzig (Mother was my favorite song for years)
AC/DC
Led Zeppelin
Iron Maiden
Twisted Sister
Anything '80s 90's except some of the heaviest bands Slipknot Mudvayne, etc.
