    I am using a Nikon Coolpix 4300 with a +17 macro lens set. I have also been experimenting with a +20 and even a +42 (a combined set ). I am not sure how well that works as the camera actually has to be a bit further from the subject. These combinations are for the close-up macro shots.

    I am new to macro photography and some of the things I am trying may or may not actually yield better results.
