I was talking to plantslikebugs and he was telling me what his town hall did in his area. They completly wiped out a few bogs and are now working on draining a pond filled with Drosera! I decied to take this to you guy's level and see if we can vioce our opinion in his state perhaps andsee if the town can spare more bogs in the future. What do ya'll think? CP are in peril!

Ummm... Maybe I'm missing something but how can a pond be filled with Drosera

I'm not saying I don't care, I'm just confused (nothing new there though )

kevin (aka plantslikebugs) is a good friend of mine, but he never told me. I know where he lives, but he should give permission for me to say. All I know is we could write a petition of our consent. And stop those ers
from ruining the last drosera bogs. Let's work together to win!!!

Sorry, lithopsman. I just realized that not long ago, like an hour ago. Hehe. But it is bad! All the spahgnum is very dry! Almost crunchy!. The drosera have very little dew and it is terrible! They also drained a bog with some Sarracenia purpurea. I would have stopped them if I knew they where going to drain it, and If I knew it was even a CP! WE NEED EVERYONES HELP!

    Thankyou,
    Kevin

I think the best you can hope for at this point is to get permission to collect the plants legally before they die. This is a fairly common practice for developers to purchase land with endangered species and drain the land to kill them off so they can build.

what sort of help do you want? Send me some pictures, and I'll help start a trust fund or something. Like raise money to get the plants, and give them to loving homes. Or at least buy the bogs. Give me more info! Give me photos! I WILL HELP!!
