I found this guy foraging in my yard. Not really hurting anything so I didn't hurt him (or her).

Nice shot Dyflam. I'm wondering if the slight bend in his right antenna indicates that he is studying you in return. I used to hold the end of a stick near cockroaches to watch their antennae (ms?) touch the stick to see what it was.

PlantAKiss, I'm thinking of the old giant-bug-genre of movies where the Boing 737 sized grasshoppers muched out on Chicago. Think it was named "Beginning of the End".

Am i the only one here who read James and the Giant Peach (and was warped thereby) growing up? Anyone can see that's grasshopper!
