O:-)
Are there any other CP fans in the Seattle/Tacoma area? I know Shelly is out here... Who else? Don't be shy..

Right here Trashcan!! i know a few others, purpguy, brisco, homer, finnish kid...where are you? Im in Enumclaw, or near Auburn

I'm in Puyallup (yes I know it sounds silly), right by Tacoma.

Hmm.. Not too far, but I must admit I have never been in that direction (only north to Federal Way and Seattle).

I would like to organize some kind of meet up if people are interested in trading plants or just showing off their plants.

Hey!
Im am dying to have that around hear! I know a few places to! In Seattle there is teh Indoor Sun Shoppe with tropicals including cps. Up by everette in snohomish theres a huge place called oudeans willow creek nursery with a ton of srras vft's and dews! Mostly temperate. So, they could come down, etc. etc......
Kevin

Field trip!

. Sounds good, maybe we can find a time when a few people can meet up somewhere, and go see the finest CPs Seattle has to offer.

Hello,
Trashcan, the Conservatory in Seattle could be a good place. Also, I know theres alot of Washingtonians out there!
Kevin

Trashcan! You are in Puyallup too!!! Homer and I both live in Puyallup!

Awesome! We definitely have to have some kind of swap or expedition. Unfortunately I have recently become transportation-less, but I'm sure we can still work something out. If you guys start emailing each other with plans, be sure to CC me.

Trashcan, I have never seen your growlist. Do you mind posting it by chance? Maybe you have seen Homer's webpage, "South Sound Carnivores"? Typically Homer and I make a trip up to Snohomish once a year. We used to purchase plants from Andrew Marshal down in Tenino, but hard times have fallen upon him, and he has had to relocated to Oregon. I have a portion of his highland Nepenthes collection. I'm sure you probably know about Willmill nursery's CP's that are from Snohomish.

Wow.. I don't think anyone has ever asked for mine before...

I used to have a lot more variety before I moved (but still mostly Nepenthes), but I still have some interesting plants.

For now, I only grow Nepenthes...

Highland:
N. tentaculata
N. macfarlanei
N. spectabilis
N. ventricosa
N. x Judith Finn

Lowland:
N. rafflesiana
N. campanulata
N. bicalcarata (struggling)
N. x ventrata
N. ampullaria (green)
N. truncata

I have more than one of a couple, and could be persuaded into trading..

(rafflesiana, bicalcarata, ampullaria)
And I can probably give cuttings from the ventrata, it's pretty big.

Those pics look great. I'm hoping to post some pics after I get a digital camera. My nepenthes are nothing spectacular just yet. I am more proud of my Sarracenia collection, but they don't look great, being in dormancy in all.

Hey,
Nice pics Trashcan. Im interested in that N. rafflesiana!! Ditto with Jeremy, not to proud of my neps, but my sarracenia except during dormancy, everything is dying back to phyllodia.
