    Here is a link to a product, a plastic pot, designed for maximum aeration to plant roots when those roots are trying to live in a plastic pot that may be too wet and warm for suitable oxygen availability. Helps keep the roots from dying of suffocation. Air Cone Pots

    Here is a link to a supplier of "coir". A more easily renewable potential alternative to peat moss or Sphagnum. Some growers are having good success with it.Coir link

    but your source has some other valuable commodities as well.
    Would the compost green up with those opaque pots, unless you were using the high bark % of most orchid mediums?

    I have been using pots like these for most of my cp collection.Similiar pots can be found at the local Home Depot or Lowes.
