need help with temperate plants!

hey if i grow temperate plants (mostly droseras) in the tropics, all i need to do is to put it in dormancy for 3 months and the rest of the year can be tropical conditions? Also right after taking it out of the fridge do i put it in strong PL lights as usual? or do i have to slowly increase the brightness

I think that they can be grown in that manner. I would gradually increase the light levels when you first take them out of the fridge, just to make sure they are not burned and die.
