bybliz sounds cool I'll have to get some pics too I have old ones but no currant ones, not that much has changed since then but still new ones would be good. I have no stereo in my car I took out the stock one to make room, but now I'm not racing it as much as I want to so I think I'll get one....

I've got 4 kids and a wife. We don't drive a cool car, just a practical one - a 98 Voyager. It's really my wife's car. I have a second hand 95 Cutlass Supreme, which has seen better days.

I had a 1989 Jeep Cherokee with 245,000 miles on it *sold it*. I still miss it... Now I have a 1999 Jeep Cherokee.

I can not stand these new vehicles with "Service Engine" light on. I never had a service engine light on on my old jeep and look how long that went *was still running good*.

Flip_Side_the_Pint, Great idea. I can tell this is going to be an interesting thread.

Capslock, That Sunbeam is worth a few bucks. Does it have the 289 Hi Pro motor or the really rare 302?

I drive a 98 Lincoln LSC two door. It came with Fords 290 hp, 282 cu in, 32 valve V8 but I have tweaked it (Computer chip, underdrive pulleys and lots of intake and exhaust work.) to 340/345. It runs 14.002 @ 101.5 mph in the quarter mile.
Top end, radar clocked by a LEO friend of mine, was 152 and climibing when I ran outta' road...and cajones. That is much quicker and faster than my old "57 fuelie Vette.

I would like my next car to be one of the new GT 40 Fords. Click on the link below and then click on "play TV slot" for a ride in one.

However, being just a few dollars short, in reality it will be a SVT Cobra or one of the Bullitt Mustangs. For a look at the Bullitt click on;

I was thinking of putting one of those performance chips in my jeep. They say it increases the 25 to 30 horsepower. You believe it?

1998 forrest green Honda Accord...Don't even know the model ex or lx or what ever. Don't give a rat's rear about cars. They get me from A to B. It IS a nice car, though...smooth ride.

The wife drives a 2002 Honda Civic. Also nice, but a little less smooth.

Im a Ford guy..
love the Mustang!
my first car was a '81 Mustang, with the small 255 V8..

here is a photo of EXACTLY what my car looked like!
even the color and the "carriage roof"..(not really a convertable)
it didnt come with the girl though! unfortunately..
my 1981 mustang

bought it when I was 18 for $1500! (in 1987)
LOVED that car!!!
I drove it all through college and a few years after, then finally had to put her out to pasture ..literally..in 1993
I was hoping to keep her and restore her someday, but I didnt have a garage to keep her in..
after 6 years of sitting outdoors, nature had re-claimed her.
I had her towed away..she is now in that great junk yard in the sky.

after the mustang, I drove several junkers in my early 20's..including an "Escort GT" ("GT".. yeah right) and a Chevy corsica that I wrecked a few months after I bought it...I think it was God punishing me for actually buying a Chevy..and not only a chevy, but a FOUR door, AUTOMATIC Chevy!!
what kind of lame car is that for a 25 year old single guy?!

so now its 1997, Im 5 years out of college and heavily in debt..
no cash at all..
i was tired or driving crummy $2000 cars..
had never owned a new car..
I was always a "buy American" kind of guy, but my Sister worked at a Honda dealership..they had a lease deal..$99 a month for 2 years for a brand new Civic!
(and the civic was made in Ohio! so I *kinda* got around the "foreign car" thing! my civic WAS made in America!
so I got the civic, bought it after the 2 year lease..
2-door, red, standard (of course)..
it has been AMAZING!! by far, the best quality car I have ever owned, or even known about..still going stong after 7 years and 125,000 miles..
the thing looks and runs like its brand new..I will easily get another seven years out of it!!
my next car will very likely be a 2-door Accord..or..maybe even another Civic?
I can afford better now, but why pay more for less quality?

someday, I MUST have my classic Mustang..the "fun car"..
to be driven only on rain-free summer days..
I need either a:
'65 convertable
'65 or '66 fastback
or a '69 fastback, preferable a Boss or MachI.
or, the ultimate mustang, the 1968 Shelby GT500KR.
but thats a bit much..I would settle for the nice simple '65 convertable..

I just got my 2004 Mazda 6. Did a couple things to it like airbox mod, resonator removal, blue LED interior lights, white LED parking light. You can check out my car site here
