I am gald the problem gpt found out, because it could continuue for the rest of my life. I could leave school and for the next 20 years I might not have a single friend, and I owuld still find it hard to ride a bike and to throw and catch.

So I am very grateful that this has got descovered early, so they can help me now and so I will be liked by ppl and be able to ride a bike.

But then aagin, it is very upsetting to have a long-term disease whcih can only be cuired by going ot a therapist for weeks.

Dino,
don't worry about it, Bro, I had all those symptoms back then, except it was chalked up to the "fast growth" stage young folks go through....
I am glad they didn't have ADD (or whatever), otherwise I would have been clasified as such instead of being labelled "exceptional"....
an really, anythinng where "above average intelligence" is a symptom can't be all bad;
most of that other stuff you should grow out of, especially if you get some kind of physical therapy to help you along, keep the intelligence though, it comes in handy

(on a side note, I guess I can chalk my bicycle accident which busted my arm up to "sudden onset dyspraxia"..... even though I grew outof it it sometimes comes back for just long enough)

And I'm not making fun of you at all, please understand, I just hope you can understand that what Tamlin said about giving sets of conditions fancy names doesn't necessarily mean everything

I'm really sorry to hear that, my brother has whats called assburger syndrom (sp?) when i first moved here i didn't like it either, no one wanted to sit by me at lunch and i letterally had one kid say go away dont sit here, even though he was by himself My solution was moving to a smaller school, i love it there and i can sit by anyone i want

Its another symptom of the condition. All the patients they see witht his condition always says htta htye have trouble making freinds and thta everyone hates them and thye wont be accepted by kids/ppl in school.

I would really like to go to a smaller school but all the schools here are so huge, that is the problem. Im gald things have got better for you Kirk.

that is SO strange, really, i never would have thought that that could be a symptom! well hopefully the medicen and therapy will help. and if someone judges you because of it, then screw them! you don't need them anyway
