I could have not said it better myself. All this leads to are people getting ticked at each other on a forum. Just like we said to Dino there are other forums for this kind of stuff.[b said:Quote[/b] (shokuchuu @ Oct. 01 2004,2:15)]Remember, this post is to talk about the Debate's outcome, not what an idiot one or the other is, or anyone else, for that matter. I appreciate that we have a wide variety of people here, so let's not push it too far as to make separate forums for different political views eh? Keep in mind that we're all here mostly because we have taken a liking to carnivorous plants, so keep it that way.
In my honest opinion, any political and/or religious discussion should be banned from Terraforums. It leaves too many people upset.
[b said:Quote[/b] ] I'll state this clearly and only once - I don't support any political school other than one that gives a rat's bum about the environment.
and repeated, and repeated, and repeated, and repeated.[b said:Quote[/b] ]repeated the charge
LOL! I especially loved it when he just stared into the camera for like 5 seconds[b said:Quote[/b] ]stumbled and paused many times as if he were searching for what to say
So what if bush doesn't change his mind even if he did change his mind every so often, wouldn't make a difference with his intelligence level. It seems like the only thing this guy thinks about is war. I think kerry will manage this whole "war thing" the way it should be managed. In what way? i don't know, but better than bush has done so far. I think that the fact that the terrorist attacks happened while bush was in office, gave him the advantage. No matter who was president at the time, any president would of tried to handled the situation as best they could. Bush is too much about the war, and not about anything else. Is that all everyone is thinking about? The war? Because thats what it seems.. i'm tired of hearing about it.. and tired of Bush being president. Maybe kerry will do something with the title of president other than handle a war.[b said:Quote[/b] (wolf9striker @ Oct. 01 2004,6:41)]I like the fact that he does not change his mind even if his decision is an unpopular one.
[b said:Quote[/b] ]Ignoring the message, and just going on presentation, Kerry definately came off better...no question.
but..the message is more important.

and Bush still has the best plan, by far.

not flip-flopping? you gotta be kidding..he so obviously flip-flopped several times in the debate!
He said that when Bush told us the reasons for invading Iraq, he misled us.
but Kerry himself agreed with the president then!
Kerry fully supported and believed in that data! and agreed that "saddam must go"!
So he basically said "When I agreed with that infoprmation, and supported the decision to invade, I was right...when president bush told us that infomation, and used it as a basis for invading, he was WRONG! even though I fully agreed with the president then..."
[b said:Quote[/b] ]"The question in my mind is how many additional American casualties is Saddam worth?... And the answer is not very darned many. So I think we got it right, both when we decided to expel him from Kuwait, but also when the president made the decision that we'd achieved our objectives and we were not going to go get bogged down in the problems of trying to take over and govern Iraq.... All of a sudden you've got a battle you're fighting in a major built-up city, a lot of civilians are around, significant limitations on our ability to use our most effective technologies and techniques.... Once we had rounded him up and gotten rid of his government, then the question is what do you put in its place? You know, you then have accepted the responsibility for governing Iraq.... Now what kind of government are you going to establish? Is it going to be a Kurdish government, or a Shi'ia government, or a Sunni government, or maybe a government based on the old Baathist Party, or some mixture thereof? You will have, I think by that time, lost the support of the Arab coalition that was so crucial to our operations over there."
But should I remind you that Bush was never eleceted. He was appointed by the Supreme Court.[b said:Quote[/b] ]but I find it difficult to become elected president if you are unintelligent
