cool! I have to use magnifying glasses for my "closeup" pictures lol.

Magnifying glasses work fine, thats all a macro filter is, except you don't have to hold these in front of your lenses!

That's a cute little stenophylla! I love the bical too.

Hi guys,

yes the N. stenophylla is a cute little thing, its from wild collected seed, so I'm very excited!

Very nice. What's the lighting for the photos?

Hey Bruce, it was a BEAUTIFUL sunny day yesterday, so I took the opportunity to try out the new lenses!

Hi Suzzane, you can still use an old camera, just add on some good macro lenses. I mean, my camera is brand new, but still an old Digi would give you the same results, macro lenses operate on the camera ability to zoom optically to the telephoto position, not on the megapixels present, but more MP gives you more clarity, and a macro function on the camera certainly helps a WHOLE lot when using the lenses.

Your bical is a fraction of it's total size, but don't dispair, mine is a lot smaller! Your's could eat one of mine's pitchers.

Oh, man...what a great shot of the bical teeth!
