Never order plants from out of country. It is rediculously hard. Just order them from PFT or trade. Triffid Park is so annoying. I have to fill out at least 4 forms they did not bother stating on their website to get the plants into the US. Apparently PhotoSanitary certificates aren't good enough for the USDA now or something. I am glad I have email since with out it I would not be able to obtain the plants to send to everyone nor would I know why. Not to mention the forms do not have enough lines for all the plant's scientific names. And no where does it tell me where to mail them to. I can't wait until they respond and tell me something like having to have everyone in the order fill out several forms and several more for me to do. So now incase any one reads this that is in on the order the new arrival date just came in for a month minimum.

SunPitcher, I would just hold on for another month. Asking for your money back will just cause more problems in the whole order...

    I warned you!!

Anyway it is up to the importer to investigate what all the import requirements are for their particular country before making an order. Without doing so you are always taking a risk and if anything goes wrong it is basically your own fault. Never believe what an exporter says as they will often do or say anything to get money out of you. Not all suppliers are as reputable as others.

I send LOADS of stuff to the US and a phyto cert and an import permit are all that is required of non CITES plants. Neps are obviously CITES so they will require more paperwork.

Here is a link to a site that specialises in reviewing mail order nurseries, I suggest you check it out to see if the people you are buying from have a good reputation, or not.
