Can anyone guess the answer to this?

Can you imagine working for a company that has a little more than
500
employees and has the following statistics:
>>
>> *29 have been accused of spousal abuse
>> * 7 have been arrested for fraud
>> * 19 have been accused of writing bad checks
>> *117 have directly or indirectly bankrupted at least 2
businesses
>> * 3 have done time for assault
>> * 71 cannot get a credit card due to bad credit
>> * 14 have been arrested on drug-related charges
>> * 8 have been arrested for shoplifting
>> * 21 are currently defendants in lawsuits
>> * 84 have been arrested for drunk driving in the last year
>>
>> Can you guess which organization this is?

I think I remember this...Congress sounds right. Since, I said Enron and do not want to look like a fool taking back my answer. My final answer is Enron.

Sounds like where I work

It's probably the one I'll end up working at. I don't know.

I think it is either congree (539), Enron, or Bugweed's answer. That seems most logical.

I'll also go with the IRS, not just because Joe (SIH) said so (but not a bad reason), but mainly because of the amount of money crimes and causing people to go bankrupt, either directly or indirectly.
JBL (yet another Joe)

I also know the IRS is an independent company employed by the Gov but I don't know if congress is actually a company - I wouldn't think so. I agree with JBL about the causing of brankruptcies too.

Our Congress... those same people who don't have to fix SS because they created their own program specially for them?

Speaking of our esteemed Senators...
There is a separate fund for the monies collected on false SS numbers being used by illegal workers as well as from other sources. It is called the earnings suspense file and collected 189 billion dollars in the 1990s alone. It is separate from the general fund. If anyone is interested, the article is below. Hmmm, wonder who has access to that?
