Here are some before pics OF NEPS (I hope this works, I have never posted any pics before):

The control (N. ventricosa):

An outside participant:

An inside ventricosa:

Some sarrs in the experiment:

I will post as I see changes. Today they all have a slightly vanilla slightly nasty smell, but I see no mold and no sign of rotting.

Pics are working. Yes, please keep us updated, it would be interesting to see how cps respond to this type of food. Maybe you should try soy protein as JLAP suggested as well, and compare?

Nice bog garden you have there.

I agree, unfortunately I do not have the specimens for this. By next year I will divide several Sarrs and have new nep cutting ready to pitcher. I will attempt this again with more controls if all goes well this time.

It has been 5 days: 1 N. truncata pitcher showing significant signs of rotting (do YOU think I should separate it from the plant now, or wait?)
S. purps are all showing signs of new growth (antho free has many new pitchers and a flower).
No other visible signs good or bad, the stanky milk odor is growing but still only noticeable right next to the pitchers.
All proofs inevitably lead to propositions that have no proof. All things are known because we want to believe in them.
