Gilligan died

I just heard that Bob Denver who played Gilligan died Friday of cancer at the Medical Center at Wake Forrest NC. I didn't even know he was sick.

yeah, he was 70 yrs. old.

It's really a sad day for TV history. The man has definately been through a lot. At least he doesn't have to hear himself being referred to as little buddy anymore.

Yeah I just heard that last nite. They showed a pic of him on TV and he still looked like Gilligan...but with grey hair. I had heard he had cancer a while back. Hard to believe he was 70.

His death was kinda overlooked in the aftermath of the hurricane coverage. I think he died last Friday.

I can remember him as Maynard Krebs in Dobie Gillis.

He was a great character actor. His shows are still being seen today.

Rest in peace, lil' buddy.
