Thought it was right time I let you guys see me setup plus I have a few question. We'll save those for later let the pictures begin(sorry about the rather large pics):

    My Whole Grow Area:

    My terrarium:

    Germination Station (lol):

    Neps:

    Pings and Drosera:

    Pink-fringed Ping (Unknown Species):

    Drosera Capillaris Flower stalks:

I'm hoping on polinating the flowers anyone have any ideas, suggestions, useful tips?

The Very Dirty Bottom of My Tank (i.e. Why I'm Posting):

As you can see it is very dirty and hard to clean due to everything being elevated so I have two options:

    1) Place a layer of red lavarock/brick along the bottom of the terrarium floor

    OR

    2) Line the bottom with about 2 inches of dead shagnum which may or may not become live sphagnum. Is this feasible/A good idea?

Tell me what you think is better

Hey Zac, you should try lining the terrarium with LFS and try to get some aquatic Utrics like U gibba or inflata. If you plan to keep the water level particularly deep, put some porous rock or coarse gravel on the bottom and keep the LFS just a little beneath the water level. I have this kind of setup going in both my terraria and it's a very productive combination; the Utrics keep the wigglies under control in the water and seem to help control the decay of the LFS, and if you're patient enough with it the LFS starts to grow new live strands. Or you can just toss a few tips of live sphagnum from your Nep pots on top of the LFS when you start the whole setup and you'll have plenty of sphagnum within months.

    Great terrarium.
    don't keep your neps water-logged.
don't even use trays for them, water from above and keep a good drainage.
