Hi guys,

anyone know about 10000K bulbs? Are they suitable for cps? I believe its a 'blue' colour used for corals. I want to know as i found some at very cheap prices and am going to buy it, either for my plants or to sell.

anyone tried this before?

thanks,
wezx

"Sunlight is somewhere around 5000 degrees Kelvin" so that's what color temp I would recommend

Btw, 10,000K is not good for plants.
Being more than 5000 doesn't make it better or anything so don't get confused.

the light at the equator is about 5,000-5,500K. As you go up it increases to about 6,700 in the northern regions of the united states, lower canada.

Yoss that was a good read thanks for sharing that with us!! I am saving it for future refurance. It has shed some light on my lighting questions.

Any time Josh
