Lighting for SW classic tank

I've made a 5 gal. classic terrarium with 1" of sand on the bottom and 3 inches of a peat/sand mix on top. I wanna put some southwestern/eastern cps in it, like P. caerulea, U. subulata, and D. capillaris. I figure about 30 watts of light should be good enough, though should I use compacts or tubes? With compacts, I could get 33 watts, tubes about 30 watts. So, what would be best?

Many thanks,
-Ben

Well, I ended up getting two 14 watt daylight compacts. They are pretty dang bright, so I hope they work ok.
